The Challenge

A poker club running a season-long tournament was tracking attendance, per-event scores, and standings across spreadsheets and WhatsApp. They needed a single, members-only app with a live best-of-N leaderboard, event registration, and an admin toolset — all in their own timezone.

What We Built

A cross-platform mobile app (iOS & Android) on an AWS serverless backend (DynamoDB + custom APIs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Separate member and admin experiences, timezone-aware event windows, secure token auth, and backend-driven UI so content and rules change without an app release.
